LAST WEEK:3/5 (60%) CAREER:6/10 (60%)
Sour finish to a 3/3 start… Let’s break through this week and set the bar at 4. Week 3 brings us a fairly evident lack of high caliber matchups, but several fun ones. Usually on weeks like this, the unpredictable happens.
Week 3 CFB
9/13 7:35EST Kansas at Boston College (-21)
Kansas is a struggling 1-1 against lesser competition in Les Miles’ first year at the helm and BC proved a lot of people wrong after knocking off Virginia Tech in the opener. Eagles’ third game in a row at home, 21 isn’t enough.
BC 38 Kansas 10
9/14 12:00(noon)EST Pittsburgh (+17) at #13 Penn State
I think Penn State is pretty overrated and playing in their first true test competitively this season. Narduzzi and the gritty Panthers defense will bring it for this in state clash. Pitt wont score enough to win but this game should be close late.
Penn State 28 Pitt 17
9/14 Oklahoma State (-13.5) at Tulsa
Ok St getting overlooked yet again…take the clearly better team on every level here.
Oklahoma State 41 Tulsa 24
9/14 4:00EST Louisville (-10) at Western Kentucky
Louisville football has been somewhat revitalized so far under new HC Scott Satterfield. Western Kentucky has yet to win by more than 7 against Central Arkansas and FIU, I think the Cards run away with this one.
L’ville 31 WKU 18
9/14 7:00EST #9 Florida at Kentucky (+8)
One of these dogs in a conference/rivalry game will get a win. Florida didn’t show me much in the opener and I think Kentucky will play motivated after losing their QB and leader Terry Wilson to a season ending injury. The crowd will be crazy for this one, should be fun to watch.
Kentucky 22 Florida 21
Loyola IL (-7) at Eastern Michigan
Club Football special: Take it to the bank…Klepp is on his senior szn #revengetour and I will be in attendance.
Ramblers 38 Eastern 6
Extra games to keep an eye out for (plenty this week) :
Kansas State @ Mississippi State, Maryland @ Temple, Iowa @ Iowa St, TCU @ Purdue, Stanford @ UCF, USC @ BYU
